To Vaccinate Or Not

To vaccinate or not has become the great dilemma of our day. Once a person makes the decision to be vaccinated, they face another dilemma: should they encourage others to receive the vaccine or simply remain quite. Encouraging others to seek the vaccine is often met with strong resistance, and sometimes with animosity. Disinformation, misinformation and lies are spread by leaders and by the media. Learn the facts by reading more.

To be clear, I am not talking about Covid-19 nor the Covid-19 vaccines. Leaders worldwide are fully aware of a far more deadly and contagious virus. Across the globe, leaders seem hell bent on keeping us in the dark.

Let’s get to the facts. Here is what we know. This virus is not only passed from mothers to babies at birth, but it is also airborne, and it can be passed by touch and enter through our eyes. Like many viruses, this strain can lie dormant in a person for years before striking without notice. Authorities know that every living human is now carrying this virus. That fact alone should raddle us to the core. Interestingly enough, there is a vaccine, but there is also a worldwide concerted effort designed to keep this information from the public.

The virus, known as the serpentine infectious nucleic virus, like others before it, was spread from animal to human. Many scholars believe it originated in Iraq, most likely in southern Mesopotamia near the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. There is speculation that this virus spread to humans from the saw-scaled viper. While the exact type of snake has yet to be proven, this snake is indigenous to Iraq and blamed for more deaths annually than any other snake in the world.

Initially two doses of the vaccine are administered.  The first vaccine is a water-soluble vaccine. Experts recommend administering this dose as soon after birth as possible. The second dose, a blood-plasma based vaccine, is usually administered during adolescence. Unlike today’s Covid-19 vaccines which requires two shots, this vaccine requires an ongoing lifetime regimen of weekly booster shots.

Covid-19 is taking a hard toll on the elderly population. This virus, however, is causing a deadlier impact at younger ages.. Many children whose parents had them vaccinated early in life, are refusing to remain current with their weekly booster vaccines as they get older. Without these weekly boosters, they leave themselves in great peril.

How serious is the coverup of this virus? Believe it or not, some of the theocratic countries of the world have actually killed individuals for trying to get information out about the dangers of the virus and the importance of the vaccine.

The media has tried to keep this virus and its vaccine out of the news. Have you heard anything about it? The Serpentine Infectious Nucleic virus is more commonly known by its initials S.I.N. and it originated in the Garden of Eden. There it was passed from a serpent to a woman, who in turn passed it to her husband, and they in turn passed it onto all of their descendants throughout the ages. This virus causes a congenital birth defect known as original sin. In humans, the highly contagious SIN virus has manifested itself in a variety of ways, each with its own damaging symptoms.

Religious leaders worldwide are calling all people into a self-imposed quarantine. This recommended quarantine period began on Ash Wednesday and will conclude at Easter. During this time, in addition to the standard weekly booster shots of prayer, church attendance, and scripture reading, people are advised to augment with three supplementary booster shots. They should inoculate themselves with additional prayer, fasting and almsgiving. These will reinforce the effects of the first water-soluble vaccine, known as baptism, and the second vaccine which they received when they accepted Christ as their Savior through Confirmation or some other form of public acknowledgement. This second blood-plasma based vaccine, washes them clean by the blood of the Lamb.

By now of course, you know I have been speaking metaphorically about sin and the saving power of Jesus Christ. Please don’t think for a minute that I am in any way making light of the Covid-19 pandemic. You may know that my wife and I both had a difficult battle with this virus, and we have lost several friends to it. No, Covid-19 is quite serious. But make no mistake, SIN has claimed more lives, caused more damage, and hurt more people than all other pandemics and plagues combined throughout history.

Despite the damaging impact SIN has inflicted on the world and despite the reality that Jesus Christ came as the universal vaccine to save the world from sin, many people have more fear of Covid-19 and its impact on their health than they do on sin and its impact on their eternal life.

This brings me full circle to where I started. During the remaining time of this Lenten quarantine, will you inject yourself with the three recommended booster vaccines of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, all of which are recommended by our great Healer and Surgeon General in His Medical Journal for Eternal Life, otherwise known as the Bible, or will you remain a vaccine skeptic? If you do take these spiritual vaccines, will you also spread the good news and tell others about the Jesus vaccine? Your testimony could save someone’s life.

Heavenly Father, please wash me clean by the blood of your Son Jesus Christ and inoculate me with your Holy Spirit so as to set me free from the ravaging effects of sin. Heal me and make me clean. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

In my opinion, Covid is dangerous to all of us, but so is driving and texting and drinking and driving. So are using and selling drugs. And cash strapped States “legalizing” marijuana is a dangerous to public health and safety trend.
Also in my opinion, the U.S. Government and the media are hyping Covid thus making it “political” and thus are responsible for directly sewing the seeds of doubt and mistrust in the general population.

Brian, I really appreciate this analogy and it will help me better focus on the remaining days of this Lent journey. Thank you for always being Holy Spirit guided.

I have followed and enjoyed the Fourth Day Letters for quite a few years now but am most disappointed by this weeks letter. This is a very unfortunate way of using a pandemic to try to evangelise. If I anything I would think this would turn a wavering Christian to move away not towards the Kingdom.

First and foremost I want to thank you for your many years of readership and for taking the time to make this post. Each week I have no idea in advance as to what topic I will write about. I prayerfully wait for a prompting and inspiration from the Holy Spirit. This topic is what came to my heart during my prayer time and so therefore, being faithful to His inspiration, this is what I wrote about. I had some concerns that people might take it the wrong way and that is why are the very beginning of the second paragraph, I pointed out that this article had nothing to do with the Covid -19 virus and the Covid vaccines. I also pointed out that I was not making light of the pandemic. After two months of struggling with this, both my wife and I are still dealing with the ongoing effects of Covid-19. I was quite ill from it and I also got pneumonia from it. To be honest I was not sure if I would make it.

My hope is that you can see that during the time of Jesus’ public ministry He frequently used the “modern” issues of His day to make points about the Kingdom of God. Many of His miracles were dealing with infirmities and disabilities. I was attempting to simply make the point that as bad as Covid has been, it only can make an impact on someone’s mortal life. If the leaders of the world paid half as much attention to the impact of sin in the world and to God’s role in the world as they did to Covid they could help millions of people achieve eternal life.

Finally, I want to say this. I have written nearly 500 weekly messages. I am sure each week that I probably underachieve someone’s expectations. I am sure each week that I touch someone’s sensitivities. Please know I try my level best to write a message that I believe God is calling me to write. Thanks again for taking time to share your views and for being a long time reader. I will continue to try my best.

    Brian,
What a timely and wonderful analogy. So often we diminish SIN and forget the damage that it will do to us if left unattended. .

Hi Brian. Thanks for this great reflection. The Church in the West tends to look at sin as crime and punishment whereas the Church in the East tends to look at sin as disease. Thanks for the breath of fresh air from the eastern lung.

Brian, the best news is that no one will get sick or die from this vaccine. Great analogy. Frank

Very clever, got my attention. Some people may experience some side effects from this vaccine – Joy.

Joy is a side effect I think we can all live with. Thanks for your post.
